Rule Book Project
- The Strat-O-Matic Baseball Mailing List's began creating a comprehensive rule
book for Strat-O-Matic Baseball. Shortly thereafter, SOM announced a new rule
book for 1998. Currently this page is in stasis until the book is released.
Check out what's been done so far. Feel free to add your own ideas. |
| Strat Research Associates - Nice Strat based page by Vince Velten. You can find some excellent articles, but you better put your thinking cap on. The articles are well thought out but sometimes deal with advanced methods. But if you take the time to follow along with Vince, your understanding of Strat-O-Matic will grow by leaps and bounds. Check out his Lineup program for help choosing the best players to trash an opponent. |

| Dynasty League Baseball - Mike Cieslinski, the designer of Pursue the Pennant Baseball, created what is probably the most intricate and realistic tabletop baseball game. Everything that can happen in real life baseball happens in Dynasty League including ejections, umpires squeezing the strike zone and home runs falling onto Waveland Ave. in Chicago. Unfortunately realism comes at a price -- the game plays at between 45-60 minutes. The lack of a computer manager in the computer version restricts its usefulness. When this limitation is addressed, this game could be a big winner. |

| Fantasy Baseball Central - The most comprehensive fantasy baseball page around. You'll find links to many worthwhile sites. Just find something else to do while the page loads, it sometimes take a while for the 117K page to appear. |
| The IBL Game- some diehard Pursue the Pennant players have revised and updated a great table-top game. |
