Less sass...more kiss ass?
S & B Guy takes a look at Batgirl’s new policy of a “stricter enforced comments policy”.
Look, it’s a private site. They can do what they want over there. And, I admit that I don’t know everything that was posted. I do know what I have seen. Here’s my advice. Laugh it off. Admit that the bad guys are just playing better and our guys have not done it this year. Accept a little sass back.
Thanks to Emord

Wow, the funny expiration date on that phrase passed in about...oh, a week after she came up with that.
Did the Frank Thomas lego beat up one of her cats? If I was a Sox fan (ugh, what a horrible thought, I hate mullets), I'd be over on her site gloating too for all the abuse she hangs on the Sox.
BTW: ##### Sox is still funny.
A fair point, but you don't put up walls when someone says something snide to you that you/your team said to them/their team. And from what I have seen that site has a lot of snide remarks. If you're going to flame other teams, you have to expect it back, and to delete comments like the one SBG made is lame and petty.
seriously, or as serious as one can get about a site like this, if batgirl wants to do this twee thing with the funny logo and the lego reconstructions, and still get away with calling the white sox a bad name, she ought to realize she can't really have it both ways.
i used to have these problems with a group of coworkers i played softball with. they liked doing the cute little comments about other people at work, or pop culture targets, but if you went after something insensitive they said, or their fave lame music groups or what have you, you'd get frozen out.
get a thicker skin, girl.
What I would find troubling if I were a Twins fans is her editing or deleting everything even mildly critical of the Twins.
If she's willing to allow people to comment on the Rincon suspension, she shouldn't delete comments that suggest that Rincon may be guilty.
It's her site, she can run it how she wants to, but if the only comments she's going to allow are comments that she agrees with, she might as well save herself the bandwidth and not allow comments.
I agree with this. We don't know exactly what was said in the comments. We only have one summary of one comment to go on. It sounds like SBG has flamed her before on her site.
I've always thought that blogs that allow comments are nice, but it is a privelage.
So she runs a biased site. She's a Twins fan, and she's allowed to do it. If someone doesn't like it, they can do what SBG is doing and attack her on his site.
We do have a lot of bloggers these days, but I don't think that's anything but a good thing. Plus, a whole bunch of us (not Bat-Girl though, sadly) got along very well at Twins Blogger Night at the Dome Tuesday. I've also gone to a previous get-together with Stick and Ball Guy and Bat-Girl and no punches were thrown.
